YES: Each consignor can bring 1000 items to the event. As always, we encourage you to bring your best items so that you sell a high percentage of your things. A consignor who brings 75 great items will do better than a consignor who brings 100 items that are poor quality and marked too high.
We will print them for you free of charge. You'll pick them up and label your items at the store on one of the Drop Off Days.
We are allowing ticket or pass holders to bring a guest with them to shop! Each paid ticket or free pass will allow in 2 people - the ticket holder and their 1 guest!
We love children! Our Pre-Sale can be busy so, if possible, leave your kiddos at home for a mom's getaway of shopping!
We suggest you set the price at 30% of the retail value. Baby Equipment, Furniture and Large Indoor/Outdoor Toys usually sell for more and are in high demand. We have an abundance of 0-6 month sizes, so they must be priced competitively in order to sell. Maternity and Junior clothing are not shopped as heavily, so price these competitively, also. You can use our Pricing Points Guide. https://lakecharles.rhealana.com/pricing-points.asp
Yes, but you will need to enter your items online in separate batches - one for each sale. Be VERY sure you enter your items for the correct sale.
No, please do not use wire hangers. There's several reasons stores don't use them! Clothes DO NOT stay on wire hangers during our busy shopping time and your items will not be purchased if they are on the floor. Wire hangers scratching back and forth against our metal racks over and over create a fine dust that settles on the clothing below. Also, plastic hangers generate a feeling of "retail and boutique" in our event rather than wire hangers that generates a feeling of "garage sale". We are upscale resale and we aim to have a surprisingly organized and wonderfully boutique feel when Moms walk in to shop our event! This is the environment that keeps them coming back and keeps your Consigned items flying out the door and putting cash in your pocket! We like to use children's plastic hangers for sizes 8 and below and larger plastic hangers for sizes 10 and above. You can use any plastic hanger you have received from a store (like Old Navy or Target), as well!
Place them in a ziploc bag and then seal the ziploc with clear packing tape. This is important!
First, be sure to affix the barcode label to the string tag; do not stick it directly onto the item or the bag. Then attach the string tag to the item and tag inside the bag. Make sure the tag is visible.
We have large shopping bags available or suggest you bring a laundry basket or tote, a large shopping bag, or a stroller. All large bags will need to be checked at the door.
If it meets our "excellence quality" standards, then group it together with one or two more like items. Pin them together on a hanger, or group them in a ziploc bag and put one price for the entire group.
Wrinkled clothes do not sell well! Please do what is necessary to make your clothes look clean and nice. Remember, the better they look, the better they sell!
Yes, you may enter additional batches until our deadline. Consignors are charged the consignor fee of $9, which is per consignor code, not per batch of items. However, for ease, save your batch and continue to go back and work within the same batch - that's easier for you and Rhea Lana's!
